This policy explains what information Clocked ("we", "us") handles when you use playclocked.com (the "Site"), and the choices you have. Clocked does not require an account, and we don't ask for your name, email address or other personal details to play.
Information stored on your device
To remember whether you've played today's quiz, your progress and your result, the Site saves a small amount of game data in your browser's local storage. Your answers stay on your device. You can delete this data at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically receives standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the time of your visit. This is used to deliver the Site, keep it secure and fix problems.
We may also use analytics tools to understand overall usage, such as how many people visit and which countries they come from. Where possible we use privacy-focused analytics that do not use cookies or track you across other websites.
When you finish a quiz, your final score (a number from 0 to 20) and the quiz number are sent to us anonymously so we can show how everyone did that day, such as the average score. Scores are stored only as daily totals and are not linked to your name, contact details or device.
